The Laird Multi Band Mobile Antenna is a low profile, high end professional antenna covering 136-174/380-520/760-870MHz frequency bands. This antenna will improve your reception with his chrome 19 1/2 inch whip with spring load.

Narrative The multi-band mobile antenna is a commercial, heavy duty vehicular antenna. It has an omnidirectionalpattern and is vertically polarized with a 50 ohm match. It also has excellent quality & RF performance,and is specifically designed as a full spectrum public safety voice & data communications antenna.

I received the magnetic base.

But I have not received the antenna...still waiting

I was not notified that the antenna was not available when it was ordered.

I scan everything from railroad to local Fire and Rescue, to public aviation and military aviation. I can hear transmissions loud and clear. Nothing beats having an antenna outside of your vehicle! This multiband antenna is definitely worth the money!  Give it a try and youll be glad you did!

I have used this antenna for several years connected to my BC996XT mobile scanner.It gives a strong, gain signal on VHF, UHF and 700/800, which covers all the bands I usually monitor. It does have an oversized base but its performance more than offsets that. I highly recommend it for some great scanning!!

This antenna is well worth the price.  I have been looking for antenna that maximizes reception for VHF/UHF & 800.  I have tried several manufacurer's and this is the best.  The base load is rather large and doesn't fit well on the newer magnetic mounts.  But permanent mount with an NMO mount is perfect
