Results may vary.. August 1, 2024 Reviewer: Chad from Colorado   I bought this to try and get a small antenna outside to run on my SDS100. Unfortunately, I have 1 area to run it out, that I wouldn't normally use my scanner. It did work great on testing it out there. However, the main area I wanted to use it has trees and obstacles and couldn't get it up far enough in the clear. Ultimately, the area I did use it and had it working properly, it performed very good. I would say this is really location and obstacle dependent for anyone. I'm also in a rural low signal area. excellent antenna September 1, 2017 Reviewer: JIMMY SPELLINS from CALIPATRIA, CA United States   very good antenna if you don't want an antenna mounted outside on the vehicle, car washes are hard on those, mounted mine on the inside of the  small window left rear of vehicle, we have 800 MHz system for law etc. works perfect Was this review helpful to you?

Awesome Antenna March 14, 2017 Reviewer: Matt Dupree from Bastrop, LA United States   I've been having a problem with monitoring a 700mhz Phase I system since I live quite a distance from the closest transmitter site.   I've tried the stock antenna, aftermarket 800mhz antenna; no help.   I received this one in one business day (ordering on a Friday received on Monday) with standard shipping!.    It has a sturdy connector and long enough to put in a place with the least amount of radio noise (closet) with the radio in my preferred listening location.  Now I'm getting 3-4 bars when I used to get 1-2.   Excellent antenna and excellent company! Best "in car" antenna! November 12, 2013 Reviewer: Terrence Flanagan from Trumbull, CT United States   I bought this antenna for my HP-1 that rests on the console of my Subaru Forester. I had been using the antenna that came with it and then a Radio Shack 800 MHz antenna. They worked great but this SpectrumForce antenna works far better! I placed it on the upper right windshield and ran the wire down though the pillar into the dash. I then decided to replace my double din car radio with a single din radio and a Uniden BCD996XT. I ordered the SpectrunForce with the BNC connection and this is the best in car set up I've ever had! I've been doing this for over 40 years! ( oh my god...has it been that long)! If you don't want to bother with an outside antenna, get this and I'm sure you'll be very happy ! As you would expect, the 800 MHz comes in very well but I also get VHF and even CB! (27 MHz )!
