Exceeded expectations! November 8, 2021 Reviewer: Paul from Oklahoma City, OK United States   I purchased the BC125AT primarily for air band monitoring and because it had military (UHF) capability. I first attached an indoor, twin-lead J-pole antenna I use for my amateur radio, dualband, handheld. I was pleasantly surprised at what it the scanner received. It did better than an older base scanner when using the same antenna. Then I attached the good portable antenna from my handheld HT and was surprised at what I received when I was outside. Later one evening I programmed additional frequencies and I continue to be amazed at what I am hearing indoors on a portable antenna. I'm looking forward to trying it with a better airband antenna in the future, but I am very pleased with this radio and found it to be quite a value. Was this review helpful to you?

Never a dull moment, worth every penny December 8, 2018 Reviewer: John Miller from Anacortes, WA United States   This has to be one of the best purchases I have made. I had my scanner preloaded with three counties for the sole purpose of avoiding the programming headaches you read about on the web, so I left the programming to the pros. As a result right out of the box this scanner had me on-scene and in the action with a “drunk and disorderly at the bowling alley! This a great radio for areas that still use old school analog equipment. For my first scanner this was the right choice for me. Thank you Scanner Master! Was this review helpful to you?

Still A Great Value July 19, 2018 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from VA United States   My prior BC125AT would still be alive if I didn't drop it after about 4 years use. BC125AT rating March 6, 2017 Reviewer: John Minks from Festus, MO United States   I got this to hear the local PD and fire departments, but I forgot that they went to the "trunk" band. I can hear dispatch,but the car to car is not available. I do however hear enough to make this a worthwhile purchase. I will recommend this to anyone that enjoys hearing what goes on in your area.
