The highly-regarded Scanner Beam now has higher gain. Mount it high and in the clear for fullspectrum VHF/UHF frequency coverage from 30-1000 MHz! Hear law enforcement agencies, firefighters, emergency medical teams, aircraft, marine radio, trains, FM and TV broadcasting, business band, federal agencies and up to 75 miles away (depending on terrain). For optimal performance aim the beam in the direction of the signal you wish to receive.

Lightweight and compact, all parts are included—balun transformer with F connector, offset boom, U-clamp. No assembly required—just rotate and latch the elements into place. Point it in any direction for maximum reception, or aim it with an inexpensive TV rotators.

I bought this antenna a few years ago and finally installed it.
It was easy for me to install it on an existing tripod on my One story home roof. Operationally I found that it performed exceptionally well on vhf high and low. I turn it and point it to military air bases and it receives excellent on air as well as military 200-400 frequencies. It even picks up some milsat signals.
