No issues, very protective. I actively wear this around every day as well as it has saved my butt from protestors a few times. Yes, I knew exactly where they were due to police response and I avoided them like the plague.

The better choice

Previously, I've owned the nylon case, from another vendor. Nice and light material but, no belt clip included; you had to use the OEM clip that came with the scanner which is notoriously weak. Due to this, my scanner wasn't always clicking onto the belt clip holder, causing my scanner to fall off my waist in more than one occasion. I then decided to purchase something better, if I wanted to save my very expensive scanner. Enter the leather case offering from Scanner Master.
Way better belt clip system, a bungee cord slipped over the antenna helps keep the scanner securely on the leather case. The leather case is sharp looking and looks like my scanner will be more secured and protected than the nylon case. It has cutouts in all the right places for buttons, ports and ventilation. I think it is the better choice among all the cases available for the SDS100 and recommend it.
