This powerful and robust lapel speaker has an internal audio amplifier powered by an included rechargeable battery. It will provide loud and clear audio from your handheld scanner and help preserve the scanner battery life as well since you can keep the scanner clipped to your belt or on your seat next to you while having the speaker clipped to your lapel or anywhere up on your shirt in the chest or shoulder area.

Using this lapel speaker is easy. Just plug it into the earphone jack and go! The battery is rechargeable by the included USB-C charging cable. And or course while the speaker “mic” is a microphone of course, it provides a great professional look as it’s manufactured by one of the companies that makes actual speaker-microphones for law enforcement and fire and EMS personnel.

This lapel speaker works great on Uniden, RadioShack, Whistler and GRE handheld scanners.
