My plan is to have my Uniden 996T Scanner in my office and use the Remote Control Head in my basement, about 20 feet away.  Will this cable connect to the scanner and remote control head, allowing both of them to work together?...or will this cable only impact the speaker on the remote control head?  Looking for an answer before I purchase this cable.  Thank you!
