First, I got educated on what I needed on the phone with a tech. Comparison was easy on the site, which made the decision easy.  It does just what I was looking for.  It's programmed for the entire county, but we just listen to our immediate area. I'll need to learn more when I want to take the unit elsewhere. I could have gone cheaper, but I wanted a trunking scanner, to get the state police. Everything is included. I got it in 2 days, but I'm in the same state.
